Walking into Arigato, I wasn’t sure what to expect—but one look at the menu, and I knew I was in for a treat. Let’s talk food. This isn’t your average sushi spot—Arigato’s menu is a well-crafted journey through flavor, texture, and presentation.
I started light with the appetizers: the Shrimp Shumai came out piping hot, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The Vegetable and Pork Gyoza were golden on the outside, tender inside—dipping them into soy sauce with a dash of chili oil was addictive. Don’t skip the Soft Shell Crab—crispy, meaty, and deeply satisfying.
Their Miso Soup? Comfort in a bowl. But the star among the starters was the Pepper Tuna Salad—thinly sliced seared tuna laid over greens with a peppery zing. For something heartier, the Chicken and Salmon Teriyaki Salads offered a great balance of protein and crunch.
Moving on to rolls—classic Avocado and Cucumber Rolls were fresh and clean. But if you're here for something bold, the Special Rolls steal the show. The Tri-State Roll surprised me with its harmony of textures, while the Arigato Roll delivered an umami bomb. My personal favorite? The Spicy Salmon Teriyaki Roll—spicy, savory, and slightly sweet.
Their Teriyaki and Donburi bowls are generously portioned—especially the Spicy White Fish Teriyaki Don, which has just the right amount of heat. I also loved the Shrimp Tempura Udon—crunchy tempura against slurpy, comforting noodles.
And sushi lovers, rejoice. Their Sashimi Deluxe is art on a plate—each slice buttery and fresh. Pair that with a side of spicy mayo or eel sauce, and you’ve got perfection.
With a cold Calpico to wash it all down, I left Arigato thinking one thing: I need to come back—soon.
